tinyServer+ is a compact digital video server with MPEG-2 or DVCPRO video compression. The unit offers a wide range of features including support for digital component video, AES/EBU and/or embedded audio and various remote control configurations. With additional features especially designed for professional use, tinyServer+ is the optimal solution for many broadcast scenarios.

Configured for 15-MBit MPEG-2 compression mode, tinyServer+ provides up to 120 minutes local clip storage capacity. The 25-MBit DVCPRO compliant version of the server features a storage capacity of 60 minutes. With the upcoming fibre channel option, quasi unlimited storage capacity is feasible.

tinyServer+ is SONY 9-pin (RS-422) compatible and may be operated like a digital VTR. In automation environments, the unit can control two remote VTRs independently. An embedded frame synchronizer allows seamless switching between clips played from local disk storage and live video feed to the SDI input (EE mode).

The full power of tinyServer+ can be adopted with tinyMation, a comprehensive automation software package for Windows NT and selected UNIX environments.
